What is EASE? Founded by an ESL teacher, Sherry MacKay, for teachers, EASE (Educational
Alternatives for Students of English) develops fun and engaging board
games and materials for teachers, and students of English as a Second
Language. It also provides free activities from teachers for teachers.
The Language of
Love is the first in a series of exciting ESL games developed by
EASE. Games are invaluable tools in teaching ESL. They can be used to
reinforce and review new materials, allowing students to use the
language in a meaningful way.

Who We Are EASE
was started by Sherry MacKay, an ESL instructor at the University of
California, Riverside (UCR). Sherry has six years teaching experience
from Canada, and has been teaching in the TESOL, TEFL and Conversation
programs at UCR Extension since 1999.
Sherry has developed and used many
games in her classroom. According to her, "games are an invaluable tool
in teaching ESL." After spending time and time again to research, cut,
paste and create games for use in her classrooms, Sherry decided to
develop something more durable and functional. Her teaching materials
are developed with the teacher and student in mind.
According to Sherry, "teaching with
